The location of SOMOS Restautant & Lounge is just another bonus point: it is on Avenida da Boavista, in the noble area of the city, and is very easy to find. The background music, the accessibility and the decoration can very well transform the place in the choice for weekly meetings with friends to catch up. After all, in addition to a restaurant, there is a lounge area where you can drink a cocktail without rushing.

Regardless of what the occasion is, SOMOS is great for celebrations. Based on Mediterranean cuisine and authentic flavors of national products, there you will find fish and meat, seafood, sausages and much more. Vegetables and fruits grow in the restaurant's urban garden and are served seasonally. Dishes fit into the concept of sharing - which means you just need to choose the right company! - and they are created by Chef Jorge Sousa, who invites both those who like traditional flavors and those who are more adventurous and like to discover new combinations. Divided between hot and cold meals, SOMOS' menu has no divisions. You choose what you want, without restrictions.

Jorge Sousa does not disappoint with his creations, so we do not even need to suggest anything – whatever you choose will be a good choice! However, we want to open your appetite and so we will mention some that leave us mouth-watering just thinking about them: the Ossobuco with purée, peppers, and eggplant or the cod gratin in slices, with poached egg and with chickpea purée on the side. Desserts are also a must, from fresh fruit to the super creamy chocolate mousse or the delicious cheesecake.

SOMOS is made to enjoy at any hour, and so there are different predefined programs: the "Brunch à Vista na Boavista” on Sundays, between 12 a.m. and 3 p.m., the “After Work Sessions” on Thursdays, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the “Concerts with Flavor”, on Saturday nights, are just three examples. During the week, there are executive menus at a very affordable price where you can experience the best delicacies in the menu.
