A universe inspired by the Atlantic Ocean and a brand that is so much more than a brand, it’s a lifestyle. La Paz is located on Reboleira Street, where leisure, simplicity and creativity come together to bring style to the men of Porto (but not only!).

Apart from the maritime inspiration, two other motivations stand out: Portuguese tradition and the clothing that belonged to the two founders’ grandfathers. Childhood friends, they wanted to create an entirely Portuguese clothing brand and they did it with La Paz.

The brand presents us with masculine pieces that have a touch of irreverence and its shop couldn’t be more in tune with the concept or inspiration of La Paz – the building belonged to an old pharmacy, used by sailors about 100 years ago and, despite having been adapted, its identity was maintained. The space is, on its own, very special (and it had to be La Paz moving in!).

We couldn’t take our eyes off the jackets, the striped t-shirts and dress shirts, which coexist in complete harmony with the decorative pieces that let us travel back to other times. The quality is assured and it’s easy to see the interesting mix between the stories of the fishermen from the past and the lives of today.

Reinventing the classics and privileging the work of the best artisans and local producers, La Paz shines in the fashion world without pretension, while sharing its passion for this magnificent city of Porto.

Cool Tip: While shopping at La Paz, take a closer look at the maritime-inspired objects that are scattered throughout the store – you’ll come across true relics! And be sure to take in the gorgeous view from the window over the river – it's spectacular!
